Empowering Women to Strengthen their Relationships
Hi, our names are Liam and Coralina, the founders of The Secret Signals.
Romantic relationships can be challenging and confusing.
The number of divorces is increasing year by year. Among the main reasons for divorce is a lack of communication, unrealistic expectations, lack of intimacy or even not being prepared for marriage. The usage of social media has altered our expectations and reduced the quality of our connections and relationships.
Harvard published an article on how strong and good connections can improve health and increase longevity. Dozens of studies have shown us that people who have satisfying social relationships with family, friends, and their community are happier, have fewer health problems, and live longer. Couples who were more hostile during disagreements showed steeper changes in stress hormones and healed wounds less quickly. Depression, obesity, and hypertension can all result from women suffering in unhappy marriages.
With the creation of The Secret Signals, we hope to help women transform their relationships into healthy, fulfilling and rewarding relationships and reap the positive emotional and physical health effects.
“Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years.” – Simone Signoret
Why Do So Many Couples Have Problems Connecting?
More Americans are single than ever before. Why is that so?
Some women are cautious about flirting. It is because of a belief that goes like this: I’m not looking for a fling and I don’t want to send the wrong message.
Some women are perfect in every way and they do everything right, but men still leave them anyway. The harder they work, the more their partners drift away.
As a result, most people are stuck with settling for mediocre relationships or severe loneliness. Studies have shown that over 10% of the population feels like they are constantly lonely.
The Modern Health Foundation suggests that loneliness is increasing and that most people are too embarrassed to discuss it… leading to mental health problems like depression, stress, and even suicide.
